Born and raised in Namibia, and currently based in Birmingham, Albertus is a native Afrikaans language instructor who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Namibia, Windhoek. He has experience teaching both in-person classes as well as online classes and likes to create his own resources to further supplement student learning.

Marlette, a certified native Afrikaans instructor with a TEFL and a Diploma in Education from Boland College, excels in creating a supportive learning space. With her diverse teaching background, she adeptly uses creative strategies to help students of all ages and cultures enhance conversational fluency, interview skills, and overall Afrikaans proficiency.

Jo-anne is a flexible Afrikaans language instructor with a decade of experience teaching students of all ages. Known for her patient and compassionate approach, she adapts her teaching style to meet each student’s needs. Jo-anne’s lessons are interactive and engaging, creating a safe space where learners feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their viewpoints.
