One-to-one General/Business
Arabic Course in Fife
Whether you want Arabic lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.
A General course in Arabic will grant you 'Survival Arabic' - enough under your belt to furnish you with a working knowledge for the purpose of visiting the country, allowing you to introduce yourself and engage in conversation with native speakers. A Business course in Arabic will generally cover basic business etiquette in that language, and at a higher level, reading and writing in Arabic.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business Arabic course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.
We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. General courses in Arabic suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where Arabic is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in Arabic culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

Info about Fife
The 'home of golf', Fife is perhaps most famous for being the town that hosts the St Andrews golf course. The third largest local authority in Scotland, the peninsula of Fife is also the site of one of the oldest surviving universities in England. The area is filled with small towns and villages, though the majority of the population live in the three largest towns of Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.
Steeped within picturesque surroundings, Fife is a wonderful place to pick up a new language. While there will primarily be only Scottish people to talk with, the serenity of much of the area is perfect for reflection and study.
Info about Arabic
Just as Latin forms the basis of most European languages, Arabic is prevalent throughout Islamic tongues. The most-spoken Semitic language in the world (well over 250 million speakers, mainly across the north of Africa), the Arabic language was of massive importance during the Middle Ages, with many important scientific, mathematical and philosophical works emanating from the Arabic world.
The first worry about learning Arabic is the alphabet - the main factor of confusion being that it is written from right to left. However, once you've settled in to the new writing system and rules of pronunciation, Arabic is an intensely rich language which attracts millions of new speakers every year.
