One-to-one General/Business

Arabic Course in Milton Keynes

Whether you want Arabic lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.

General and Business courses in Arabic differ in style and content: a General course will concentrate on developing confident conversational skills, making short visits to the country less of an exercise in frustration and more about building upon the foundations to your own ends. Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in Arabic, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.

Our Arabic courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on Arabic telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.

We arrange Business courses for many clients; primarily those working in international trade, overseas governments and universities, and employees of multinational firms who require a second language. Clients of our General Arabic courses include people moving abroad, those entering a Arabic family through marriage, those studying for a Arabic exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about Arabic language and culture.

Info about Milton Keynes

Ideally (and deliberately) situated halfway between several key English cities (namely London, Oxford, Birmingham, Cambridge and Leicester), Milton Keynes is one of the UK's 'new cities' in the south east. Planned during the 1960s to alleviate crowding in the capital, the city's site was just one of many carefully-considered strategies employed to make Milton Keynes flourishing city in its own right.

With around 185,000 people living in the urban area, Milton Keynes attracts youthful residents, and there is an increasing diversity of ethnicity, making it a city of ample linguistic interest and a thriving city in which to learn a second language.

Info about Arabic

Just as Latin forms the basis of most European languages, Arabic is prevalent throughout Islamic tongues. The most-spoken Semitic language in the world (well over 250 million speakers, mainly across the north of Africa), the Arabic language was of massive importance during the Middle Ages, with many important scientific, mathematical and philosophical works emanating from the Arabic world. The first worry about learning Arabic is the alphabet - the main factor of confusion being that it is written from right to left. However, once you've settled in to the new writing system and rules of pronunciation, Arabic is an intensely rich language which attracts millions of new speakers every year.
