One-to-one General/Business
French Course in Southampton
Whether you want French lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.
General French courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in French, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.
The possibilities are not limited to these two categories, however. Those taking a Business course will generally also learn French telephone and email skills, as well as learning the basics for surviving short visits to the country. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of French need only request it from their teacher.
We arrange Business courses for many clients; primarily those working in international trade, overseas governments and universities, and employees of multinational firms who require a second language. General courses are not simply for those who need to reach a certain level of French for an exam - they are perfect for those wishing to pack up and move abroad, those marrying a French national, as well as those travelling to the country for any other reason.

Info about Southampton
The biggest city on the south coast, Southampton and its surrounding area has around 250,000 inhabitants and a great deal of cultural and ethnic diversity can be found. Almost 1 in 10 people in the city are Polish, making it a great place to pick up a Slavic tongue; and with sizeable Chinese, Irish and Asian communities as well as its interest as a tourist destination for Europeans, it's a great place to pick up almost any language. Most of this mass immigration has arrived in the last few decades, turning Southampton into one of the most densely-populated cities in the UK.
So often linked with maritime history, Southampton's glowing reputation as an illustrious port town stems back to the early 20th century when it handled most of the passenger traffic for the UK.
