German Lessons in Cambridge

Get Started and Learn German

German, the native tongue of around 100 million people, rivals English as an important language to know for a career in European administration, law, business or tourism. The ties between Britain and Germany have been close for many years. The two nations are linked by strong bonds of culture and friendship. Throughout the 19th century, a small population of German immigrants built up in Britain, and 500 of them settled in Cambridge. Today, more than 1,800 people of German origin live in the city. So, learning German can help you not only to connect with Germans at home and abroad, but also to explore cultural and professional opportunities available to bilingual speakers around the city.
