One-to-one General/Business
German Course in Oxford
Whether you want German lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.
General German courses will cover Survival German, allowing you to be comfortable during short visits to the country; polite conversation, practicable vocabulary and a strong grammatical foundation. Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in German, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business German course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. Equally, a General course will cover the fundamentals, but further focus in any particular area can easily be arranged with your teacher.
Our Business courses cater to a range of requirements. Many of our clients work for foreign governments and educational institutions, corporations with branches abroad, as well as those who buy and sell around the world. Our General courses cater for people aiming to purchase overseas property, globetrotters, German language and culture devotees, as well as people who need to pass a particular German exam.

A city of around 135,000 residents, Oxford is most famous for housing the oldest university in the known world, which dates all the way back to the end of the 11th century. The city is one of the most culturally diverse small cities in the country, mainly thanks to the sheer number of overseas students attracted by the quality of the university; and its cosmopolitan nature is reflected in areas such as Cowley Road and Headington, which feature many ethnic shops, bars and fast food markets.

I found Eddy polite and helpful at all times. He was always on time and made the lessons interesting and informative. The lessons have given me a good revision of the French I knew years ago. I have been overall very happy with the service provided to me.
