One-to-one General/Business
Ukrainian Course in London
Whether you want Ukrainian lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.
General Ukrainian courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. A Business course in Ukrainian will generally cover basic business etiquette in that language, and at a higher level, reading and writing in Ukrainian.
The possibilities are not limited to these two categories, however. Those taking a Business course will generally also learn Ukrainian telephone and email skills, as well as learning the basics for surviving short visits to the country. Equally, a General course will cover the fundamentals, but further focus in any particular area can easily be arranged with your teacher.
Typical Business course students include those in international import/export, those hoping to gain acquisitions in foreign countries, those within multinational corporations, and people who do business with foreign institutions and governments. General courses in Ukrainian suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where Ukrainian is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in Ukrainian culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

Info about London
London may well be THE place to pick up a second language - the city is awash with ethnic diversity thanks to the size, splendour and influence of the EU's most populous city. Over 300 languages are spoken around the sprawling mass of boroughs known as Greater London, shared amongst the 7 and a half million residents of the city.
As the capital of the UK, London has always attracted overseas interest, which is only helped by the fact that the city houses five international airports, including the busiest international airport in the world - Heathrow. This creates a constant influx of tourists and immigrants from a huge variety of cultural and religious origin. If there was ever a place ideally suited for learning another language, surely London is it - something that foreigners know only too well, as London is a global centre for English language learning.

Info about Ukrainian
Ukrainian is an East Slavic language, used by around 40 million people around the world, and shares many features with other Slavic tongues such as Polish, Russian, Croatian and Slovak; including the Cyrillic alphabet.
The Ukrainian language has had a chequered history, and is currently recovering from a period of deterioration due to numerous bans and discouragement over the past few centuries. Since the last decade of the 20th century, the Ukrainian government has actively encouraged the spread of the language, and nowadays almost everyone in Ukraine speaks the language, though many are also fluent in Russian.
Ukrainian, like most Slavic languages, is a difficult prospect for the average native English speaker, but fluency can be gained with careful study, daily practice and a little passion.

Teaching English in Brasília doesn't really require learning Portuguese (everything at the school is done in English), but I like to keep ahead of the game. The Language Trainers classes have given me a good grounding in conversational Portuguese, along with some great advice about living in such a different city. I can't wait to practice my skills once I hit the beaches!
