English Course in Hull

Once you start taking our classes you will soon begin to feel your confidence in English grow. This is because they will be focussed on your requirements and expectations.

General English courses will ensure that you have the grammar and vocabulary needed to take a comfortable and enjoyable trip abroad in which you are able to speak to English speakers without fear. A Business course in English will generally cover basic business etiquette in that language, and at a higher level, reading and writing in English.

The flexible nature of our courses means that you can choose what you want to be taught. This means that you aren't restricted simply to Business or General courses but can go for something which will genuinely give you what you need. Equally, a General course will cover the fundamentals, but further focus in any particular area can easily be arranged with your teacher.

These days there are more people than ever in need of Business level English lessons. There are so many careers in which knowledge of English can open up a lot of doors. General courses in English suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where English is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in English culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

You have the option to participate in a free language consultation before your course begins. This short consultation, usually over the phone, will reveal the work situations you will find yourself in and the terminology you will need to know in order for us to better design your course. This information, in addition to details regarding your preferred methods of learning, will be used to understand your specific requirements, work demands, and the language goals you wish to achieve from your course.

Info about Hull

Hull, or Kingston upon Hull to give the city its full name, was founded during the 12th century and throughout its history has been an extremely important city for the UK. Nowadays the city is an essential port city, with a population bordering on a quarter of a million.

The city of Hull is sometimes seen as something of an oddity - it's a large, sprawling, industrial city situated right in the middle of a mostly rural area of Yorkshire. While it was recently voted one of the worst places in the UK to live, most Hull natives are proud to be so, emphasising the residents' friendly disposition and working-class mindset.

With its thriving port, Hull attracts plenty of overseas visitors, making it an ideal spot to start learning a foreign language.
