Language Trainers is an important part of my life today as they stood by me when I needed them

Hello Sree! Thank you for sharing your experience with us today! Why don’t you begin by telling us which language you teach and why you chose a career in teaching?

I teach Telugu which is one of the most ancient languages in the world. I chose teaching as a career as I love my language and would like to pass on my knowledge about it to as many people as possible.

That’s a fair objective! How did you prepare for this then? Tell us about your teaching qualifications and history.

I consider myself fortunate for having been trained in Telugu by language and literary experts, who motivated me to teach my mother tongue. Besides teaching, I also write content in Telugu, which is published regularly in various forums and platforms.

That sounds so interesting! And how did you end up teaching with us? What attracted you to apply for a job with Language Trainers?

Language Trainers is one of the best global language schools to work with. They are very professional, thorough, and give work to every dedicated teacher who is associated with them. They take very good care of their teachers.

And what is your favourite thing about working with Language Trainers?

Language Trainers is an important part of my life today as they stood by me when I needed them. They gave me tremendous support. They are a great company to work for. I will work with them for a long time ahead.

We are so glad to hear that, Sree! We are glad our staff could give you all the support you needed. And when a member of our team contacts you for a course, what characteristics do you expect your students to have?

I love teaching to every student who is interested in Telugu and studies with dedication. When this happens, I can go all out in making them fluent in the language. Also, I want my students to practise the language regularly.

That is always necessary when learning a new language. What about the other side of the coin? What should students expect from you as their teacher?

My students can expect me to be understanding. I want them to feel at ease so they can share with me the problems they find when learning Telugu. They need to understand that they need not be afraid of speaking with me.

I’m sure your students appreciate that! So far, which has been your most memorable teaching experience with Language Trainers?

I am enjoying teaching all my students. So far, I have had many students from the USA and Australia, which has been possible only because of Language Trainers. They have given me wonderful students so far and I am looking forward to getting new students in the future.

hat’s great to hear! And why do you think students should enrol in a language course with Language Trainers?

Language Trainers always hires teachers who are experienced and disciplined. They also review the candidates’ references before they assign them to a student. Therefore, students can rest assured about the quality and experience of their teachers.

Thank you very much for this interview, Sree! Before you go, could you tell us a fun fact about the language you teach or a favourite expression you ask your students to learn?

It is hilarious when students who are completely new to the language mispronounce words and say something with the opposite meaning. One of my most enthusiastic students, Clare, once said “Nee kosam oka Ullipaaya tecchaanu” which means “I brought an onion for you”. The sentence was grammatically correct but completely hilarious.
