One-to-one General/Business

Czech Course in Oxford

Whether you're looking to learn a language for personal or business reasons, our tailor-made courses can help you achieve your aims.

General and Business courses in Czech differ in style and content: a General course will concentrate on developing confident conversational skills, making short visits to the country less of an exercise in frustration and more about building upon the foundations to your own ends. Business courses are aimed at those wishing to work in the target language - so a working knowledge of etiquette in Czech business, as well as developing proficient reading and writing skills.

Our Czech courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on Czech telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. Likewise, a General course can include specific elements that are integral to your needs, for example if you need vocabulary specific to buying property overseas.

We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. General courses in Czech suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where Czech is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in Czech culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

Info about Oxford

A city of around 135,000 residents, Oxford is most famous for housing the oldest university in the known world, which dates all the way back to the end of the 11th century. The city is one of the most culturally diverse small cities in the country, mainly thanks to the sheer number of overseas students attracted by the quality of the university; and its cosmopolitan nature is reflected in areas such as Cowley Road and Headington, which feature many ethnic shops, bars and fast food markets.

Oxford is a fantastic place not only as a site of British history and heritage, but also for foreign studies. With the constant influx of people from all around the world, the city is a marvellous place to learn a new language.
