One-to-one General/Business
Czech Course in Portsmouth
It's no problem if you need to take Czech lessons specifically for personal use or to help with your career - our trainers mould the lesson plan to your precise needs.
General Czech courses will cover Survival Czech, allowing you to be comfortable during short visits to the country; polite conversation, practicable vocabulary and a strong grammatical foundation. A Business course in Czech will generally cover basic business etiquette in that language, and at a higher level, reading and writing in Czech.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business Czech course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. Likewise, a General course can include specific elements that are integral to your needs, for example if you need vocabulary specific to buying property overseas.
We arrange Business courses for many clients; primarily those working in international trade, overseas governments and universities, and employees of multinational firms who require a second language. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn Czech for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific Czech exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a Czech family.

Info about Portsmouth
A city of almost 200,000 people, Porstmouth (or 'Pompey', as it is often nicknamed) is a large Hampshire city on the UK's south coast. For centuries it has been the site of major naval activity - the city has the oldest drydock in the world, and while its use has fallen into relative decline in recent years, it is still a bustling commercial port, and used regularly by the Royal Navy.
The city's population is diverse in domestic terms, mainly due to the influence of the Royal Navy. Many de-mobilised sailors from all around the country (as well as Ireland, Scotland and Wales) end up staying in Portsmouth. However, while tourism from overseas is strong in the city, the resident population is mainly white; though this takes nothing away from Portsmouth's capacity as a great place to learn a new language.

The staff at my small import company already knew a bit of Japanese, but I wanted to make sure that they were aware of the many customs and traditions, as well as improving their language skills. Kaori comes to the warehouse every Tuesday, and has always been patient and professional, even though sometimes the guys joke around with her. Everyone is really interested in the culture, and we've all become much more comfortable with our conversational skills. Cheers, Language Trainers.
