One-to-one General/Business
Danish Course in Dublin
It doesn't matter if you want to learn Danish for business or pleasure - our customised language courses will help you get where you want to be.
General and Business courses in Danish differ in style and content: a General course will concentrate on developing confident conversational skills, making short visits to the country less of an exercise in frustration and more about building upon the foundations to your own ends. Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in Danish, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.
The possibilities are not limited to these two categories, however. Those taking a Business course will generally also learn Danish telephone and email skills, as well as learning the basics for surviving short visits to the country. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of Danish need only request it from their teacher.
Typical Business course students include those in international import/export, those hoping to gain acquisitions in foreign countries, those within multinational corporations, and people who do business with foreign institutions and governments. Clients of our General Danish courses include people moving abroad, those entering a Danish family through marriage, those studying for a Danish exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about Danish language and culture.

Info about Dublin
Capital of Ireland and its largest city, Dublin was recently voted the best capital city in Europe in which to live - and the city has a pretty good case for such praise. While the city has traditionally been a centre of emigration, in recent decades the number of immigrants to Dublin has swelled, giving rise to a remarkable diverse community, particularly from the EU (mainly the UK, Lithuania and Poland), though there are also large Chinese, Nigerian, Brazilian, Russian and Australian communities.
One result of the mish-mash of ethnicities in the city is the eruption of ethnic food shops, but another is the array of languages heard around the city; which makes Dublin a superb location to pick up a new language. This vibrant city is full of young singles - 50% of inhabitants are under 25, and in 2007 Dublin was named the friendliest city in Europe in a worldwide survey.

Info about Danish
A Scandinavian language spoken by around 6 million people - mostly in Denmark and Greenland - Danish is in many ways something of a unique tongue. No other language is so liable for shortening and reducing word forms, even in formal language; and includes 14 vowel sounds. Verbs change in form only according to tense, rather than standard conjugation - but they make up for this oddity by having a huge amount of irregular verbs.
Proficient speakers of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian can generally understand one another pretty well, despite various differences between the languages and varying dialects depending on area - though thankfully Danish does not suffer so much from distinct regional dialects.
