General Dutch courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. A Business course will focus on business protocol in Dutch, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
Our Dutch courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on Dutch telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.
Typical learners who choose our Business courses are import/export professionals, agents for multi-national companies, and those involved with foreign governments and universities. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn Dutch for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific Dutch exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a Dutch family.

With around 100,000 residents in the city and its suburbs, Limerick is the third largest city in the Republic of Ireland, situated right in the middle of Cork and Galway. As with many of the more sizeable cities in Ireland, there has been an explosion of immigration into the country in the past decade, spurring on Limerick's tourism trade, as well as its reputation for its vibrant shopping and clubbing industries.
In recent years Limerick has become a haven for Polish and African immigrants, and their influences have become part and parcel of the city itself. The Polish community is the second largest in Ireland, second only to Dublin, making it a great place to pick up a Slavic tongue - or indeed any other language from the continent, with the almost continuous stream of European immigrants coming into the city, all the year round.

Info about Dutch
Spoken by over 30 million people around the word, the Dutch language is the native tongue of the Netherlands and is spoken in many other countries throughout Europe and parts of Africa (being the parent language of Afrikaans). Dutch grammar is similar to German, but made easier by the relative lack of morphology (that is, words changing form depending on the role they are playing in a sentence). This gives it an English feel, though the vocabulary features plenty of those lovely lengthy compound words that generally characterise Germanic languages.
Dutch is not traditionally a popular language for non-native speakers to learn, mainly due to the fact that its use is not widespread, and most Dutch speakers are generally proficient in other European languages. However, the number of non-native speakers has surged in recent years.
