One-to-one General/Business
English Course in Exeter
Whether you're looking to learn a language for personal or business reasons, our tailor-made courses can help you achieve your aims.
While a General English course will provide you with enough linguistic ammunition to allow you to survive a short visit to the country (greetings, basic conversation and a solid grammatical foundation). Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in English, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.
Our English courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on English telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.
Our Business courses cater to a range of requirements. Many of our clients work for foreign governments and educational institutions, corporations with branches abroad, as well as those who buy and sell around the world. Clients of our General English courses include people moving abroad, those entering a English family through marriage, those studying for a English exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about English language and culture.

Info about English
The English language has many complex rules governing its correct usage, many of which do not follow any kind of strict logic and must simply be learnt. These complexities can often stymie the passion to learn English for a non-native speaker, but this is no longer necessary. Language Trainers can send a native English speaker, qualified to teach to non-native speakers, to your home or place of work at a time that suits you, and can teach you on your own or in a group. Books and worksheets are supplied by Language Trainers, and the substance of the teaching sessions can be adapted to suit your own linguistic desires.
