English Course in Hull

You might want to learn English for any number of different reasons and the key thing is that we will tailor the course to these needs and give you the support you need to gain the skills you want.

General English courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. On the other hand, the Business English lessons offered by us are more useful for anyone who needs to be able to speak English for work purposes. It could be the boost your career needs.

Our English courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on English telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. A good example of how a General course can be adapted to personal needs might be for a client who intends to buy a property overseas and wants to learn all the words which they can on the subject.

These days there are more people than ever in need of Business level English lessons. There are so many careers in which knowledge of English can open up a lot of doors. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn English for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific English exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a English family.

You have the option to participate in a free language consultation before your course begins. This short consultation, usually over the phone, will reveal the work situations you will find yourself in and the terminology you will need to know in order for us to better design your course. This information, in addition to details regarding your preferred methods of learning, will be used to understand your specific requirements, work demands, and the language goals you wish to achieve from your course.

Info about Hull

Hull, or Kingston upon Hull to give the city its full name, was founded during the 12th century and throughout its history has been an extremely important city for the UK. Nowadays the city is an essential port city, with a population bordering on a quarter of a million.

The city of Hull is sometimes seen as something of an oddity - it's a large, sprawling, industrial city situated right in the middle of a mostly rural area of Yorkshire. While it was recently voted one of the worst places in the UK to live, most Hull natives are proud to be so, emphasising the residents' friendly disposition and working-class mindset.

With its thriving port, Hull attracts plenty of overseas visitors, making it an ideal spot to start learning a foreign language.

Info about English

The English language can drive even native speakers crazy with its strange rules of spelling and pronunciation, complicated grammar constructions and its myriad of rules and regulations, none of which can be described as inflexible. However, with the benefit of our fully-qualified and dedicated teachers at Language Trainers, you too can soon be confidently speaking the world's lingua franca. Classes are given either on a one-to-one basis or in a group; you can schedule classes to take place at the time and place of your choosing; and all teaching materials are already provided by Language Trainers. The course can also be customised to fit your own (or the whole class') needs.
