One-to-one General/Business

English Course in Leeds

It's no problem if you need to take English lessons specifically for personal use or to help with your career - our trainers mould the lesson plan to your precise needs.

General and Business courses in English differ in style and content: a General course will concentrate on developing confident conversational skills, making short visits to the country less of an exercise in frustration and more about building upon the foundations to your own ends. Business courses will centre more on formal, business communication, and focus more on reading and writing skills as you advance further.

It is your first session and your own requirements, however, which decide the precise content of the course. A Business course will generally include common conversational topics, as well as gaining greater fluency with writing letters and emails in English, as well as using the telephone. Equally, a General course will cover the fundamentals, but further focus in any particular area can easily be arranged with your teacher.

We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. Our General courses cater for people aiming to purchase overseas property, globetrotters, English language and culture devotees, as well as people who need to pass a particular English exam.

Info about Leeds

The fourth most populated city in England and one of the country's core cities, the metropolitan district of Leeds has just over three quarters of a million residents. The city was recently voted the best city to visit in the UK outside of London, and its two universities attract thousands of overseas students every year.

With this constant influx of people from all around the world, Leeds is a remarkably good spot to start learning a new language. With a large south Asian population and a notable Chinese contingent, there are plenty of opportunities around the city for daily practice, and with your native speaker tutor, you'll be making huge leaps in a fraction of the time it would take with a regular course.
