One-to-one General/Business
English Course in Newcastle
Whether you're looking to learn a language for personal or business reasons, our tailor-made courses can help you achieve your aims.
A General course in English will grant you 'Survival English' - enough under your belt to furnish you with a working knowledge for the purpose of visiting the country, allowing you to introduce yourself and engage in conversation with native speakers. A Business course will focus on business protocol in English, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
It is your first session and your own requirements, however, which decide the precise content of the course. A Business course will generally include common conversational topics, as well as gaining greater fluency with writing letters and emails in English, as well as using the telephone. Likewise, a General course can include specific elements that are integral to your needs, for example if you need vocabulary specific to buying property overseas.
Typical Business course students include those in international import/export, those hoping to gain acquisitions in foreign countries, those within multinational corporations, and people who do business with foreign institutions and governments. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn English for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific English exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a English family.

Thank you, things are looking good. I also hope you're doing well and everything's alright. My course with Gwen is almost finished. We have our last 2-hour lesson scheduled on Monday. I've been very satisfied with Gwen's methods, talent and teaching abilities. Lessons with her have been the best. We managed to finish the course book and I've been able to improve, not only, my speaking ability but my writing skills, as well. Earlier this month I started doing CAE course at the language school, as I'm determined to get a certificate in Advanced English. I believe English lessons provided from your company have been a very useful part in the preparation for my exam.
