One-to-one General/Business
French Course in Plymouth
Whether you want French lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.
General French courses will cover Survival French, allowing you to be comfortable during short visits to the country; polite conversation, practicable vocabulary and a strong grammatical foundation. A Business course will focus on business protocol in French, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business French course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of French need only request it from their teacher.
Typical Business course students include those in international import/export, those hoping to gain acquisitions in foreign countries, those within multinational corporations, and people who do business with foreign institutions and governments. Clients of our General French courses include people moving abroad, those entering a French family through marriage, those studying for a French exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about French language and culture.

Info about Plymouth
With around 250,000 inhabitants, Plymouth is one of the more populous cities in the south west of the UK. It is not, however, one of the more culturally diverse. With its largest ethnic minority group making up only around 0.5% of the city's population as a whole, the cultural homogeny is in line with the county of Devon as a whole.
This does not, however, discount Plymouth from being a suitable place to pick up a new language. The University of Plymouth is the biggest university in the south-west, with more than 30,000 students and many of them coming from overseas; and Plymouth is well-known for having many schools teaching English as a foreign language, mainly for the children visiting the city by Ferry from France and Spain.
