One-to-one General/Business

German Course in Dudley

It's no problem if you need to take German lessons specifically for personal use or to help with your career - our trainers mould the lesson plan to your precise needs.

A General course in German will grant you 'Survival German' - enough under your belt to furnish you with a working knowledge for the purpose of visiting the country, allowing you to introduce yourself and engage in conversation with native speakers. Business courses will centre more on formal, business communication, and focus more on reading and writing skills as you advance further.

The possibilities are not limited to these two categories, however. Those taking a Business course will generally also learn German telephone and email skills, as well as learning the basics for surviving short visits to the country. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of German need only request it from their teacher.

We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. Our General courses cater for people aiming to purchase overseas property, globetrotters, German language and culture devotees, as well as people who need to pass a particular German exam.

Info about Dudley

A large settlement in the heart of the West Midlands, Dudley is the biggest town in the UK without a university. The city is steeped in history, with a market established way back in 1260 and many old churches and castles that date back even further. Many areas of the Dudley Metropolitan District have a high Asian population and a burgeoning Islamic community, making the city a great place to learn Hindi or Urdu.

The Dudley accent, a 'Black Country' accent, is very distinctive; and along with that of Birmingham was voted the least sexy accent in the UK - it breaks almost all the rules of standard British Received Pronunciation, though that doesn't particularly bother the town's residents.
