One-to-one General/Business
Greek Course in Brighton
It's no problem if you need to take Greek lessons specifically for personal use or to help with your career - our trainers mould the lesson plan to your precise needs.
General Greek courses will cover Survival Greek, allowing you to be comfortable during short visits to the country; polite conversation, practicable vocabulary and a strong grammatical foundation. A Business course will focus on business protocol in Greek, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
Our Greek courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on Greek telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. Equally, a General course will cover the fundamentals, but further focus in any particular area can easily be arranged with your teacher.
We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. General courses in Greek suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where Greek is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in Greek culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

Info about Brighton
Sunny Brighton is the most popular seaside resort in the UK, and a real centre for multiculturalism, which is promoted throughout the city. Each summer brings with it many thousands of students from overseas, coming to Brighton to learn English and, if they're lucky, to get a glimpse of British sunshine. Over 8 million tourists also visit Brighton every year.
Brighton's popularity is mainly because the city has so much to offer; thanks to the seafront, the buzzing nightlife, the annual Brighton festival, its proximity to London, the huge array of shops and boutiques, and much more.
The ethnic mix in Brighton is a testament to the easy-going lifestyle throughout the city, and makes it a fantastic place to pick up a new language from scratch - especially for the more popular European tongues like German, French, Spanish and Italian; though there are plenty of other cultures in abundance throughout the city.

Info about Greek
Modern Greek is the 5th stage of the evolution of the Hellenic language, and is spoken mainly in Greece and Cyprus; though there are Greek-speaking communities dotted all around the world, making approximately 17 million speakers worldwide.
The most obvious difference between Greek and English is the Greek alphabet, which may look a little scary at first, but actually shares a great many similarities with the standard Roman alphabet. In many ways Modern Greek is a watered-down version of its ancient counterpart, leaving behind many grammatical features, yet few enough for most students of Ancient Greek to pick up Modern Greek relatively quickly.

After finding out that I'd been accepted into a student exchange program in Germany, I figured I'd better learn enough of the language to get by. The Language Trainers classes fit around my uni schedule, and I learned as much about the culture as I did about how to speak German. I'm now in the third week of the program, and am even relaxed enough to have organised my first date!
Typical course length:
• 30 hours per level
(classes are usually 2 hours each)
We also offer packages of:
• 20 hours
• 50 hours
• 100 hours
(with discounted rates)
