One-to-one General/Business
Greek Course in Dublin
Whether you're looking to learn a language for personal or business reasons, our tailor-made courses can help you achieve your aims.
General Greek courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. Business courses will centre more on formal, business communication, and focus more on reading and writing skills as you advance further.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business Greek course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of Greek need only request it from their teacher.
Typical learners who choose our Business courses are import/export professionals, agents for multi-national companies, and those involved with foreign governments and universities. Clients of our General Greek courses include people moving abroad, those entering a Greek family through marriage, those studying for a Greek exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about Greek language and culture.

Info about Dublin
Capital of Ireland and its largest city, Dublin was recently voted the best capital city in Europe in which to live - and the city has a pretty good case for such praise. While the city has traditionally been a centre of emigration, in recent decades the number of immigrants to Dublin has swelled, giving rise to a remarkable diverse community, particularly from the EU (mainly the UK, Lithuania and Poland), though there are also large Chinese, Nigerian, Brazilian, Russian and Australian communities.
One result of the mish-mash of ethnicities in the city is the eruption of ethnic food shops, but another is the array of languages heard around the city; which makes Dublin a superb location to pick up a new language. This vibrant city is full of young singles - 50% of inhabitants are under 25, and in 2007 Dublin was named the friendliest city in Europe in a worldwide survey.

Info about Greek
Modern Greek is the 5th stage of the evolution of the Hellenic language, and is spoken mainly in Greece and Cyprus; though there are Greek-speaking communities dotted all around the world, making approximately 17 million speakers worldwide.
The most obvious difference between Greek and English is the Greek alphabet, which may look a little scary at first, but actually shares a great many similarities with the standard Roman alphabet. In many ways Modern Greek is a watered-down version of its ancient counterpart, leaving behind many grammatical features, yet few enough for most students of Ancient Greek to pick up Modern Greek relatively quickly.
