One-to-one General/Business

Italian Course in Wigan

Whether you want Italian lessons to help you in your general day-to-day life or for business needs, our made-to-order language courses can help you improve quickly and confidently.

General and Business courses in Italian differ in style and content: a General course will concentrate on developing confident conversational skills, making short visits to the country less of an exercise in frustration and more about building upon the foundations to your own ends. Business courses will centre more on formal, business communication, and focus more on reading and writing skills as you advance further.

It is your first session and your own requirements, however, which decide the precise content of the course. A Business course will generally include common conversational topics, as well as gaining greater fluency with writing letters and emails in Italian, as well as using the telephone. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of Italian need only request it from their teacher.

We arrange Business courses for many clients; primarily those working in international trade, overseas governments and universities, and employees of multinational firms who require a second language. Clients of our General Italian courses include people moving abroad, those entering a Italian family through marriage, those studying for a Italian exam, as well as those who are simply passionate about Italian language and culture.

Info about Wigan

Standing on the river Douglas around 20 miles from Manchester and Liverpool, Wigan is a large town with a fascinating history stretching back to the times of Celtic tribes. The town is famed for many things, including many musical legends such as George Formby Jr. And Sr., having the highest density of pubs and social clubs of any UK city, and of course, the annual World Pie Eating Championship.

Wigan has many minority communities scattered around the town and its suburbs; including Chinese, Caribbean, Pakistani, Indian and many from African nations. This makes it something of a multi-lingual town, and an excellent place to start finding your way in a brand new tongue.
