One-to-one General/Business
Korean Course in London
If you want to be taught Korean for academic reasons, business needs or gain a working knowledge of the language for general purposes, our tailormade lessons are guaranteed to be the ideal solution.
General Korean courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. Business courses are great for those whose career will be moving overseas - you would learn the fundamental protocols for engaging in business in Korean, and later would start to focus more on the integral skills of reading and writing.
Courses are, however, tailor-made - you cover in your lessons what you need to cover. Most students taking a Business Korean course will gain telephone and email expertise, as well as general conversation skills. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of Korean need only request it from their teacher.
We have a wide range of Business course clients for a variety of needs; including people who are off to work for a foreign administration, people working in a corporation with overseas headquarters, and import/export specialists. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn Korean for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific Korean exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a Korean family.

Info about London
London may well be THE place to pick up a second language - the city is awash with ethnic diversity thanks to the size, splendour and influence of the EU's most populous city. Over 300 languages are spoken around the sprawling mass of boroughs known as Greater London, shared amongst the 7 and a half million residents of the city.
As the capital of the UK, London has always attracted overseas interest, which is only helped by the fact that the city houses five international airports, including the busiest international airport in the world - Heathrow. This creates a constant influx of tourists and immigrants from a huge variety of cultural and religious origin. If there was ever a place ideally suited for learning another language, surely London is it - something that foreigners know only too well, as London is a global centre for English language learning.

Info about Korean
Korean is the official language for both North and South Korea, with around 80 million speakers worldwide. Heavily influenced by Chinese and with grammar similar to Japanese, the language varies fairly widely not only between North and South, but also from region to region. Originally written with Chinese characters, a syllabic writing system called Hangul was introduced in the 15th century, making it easier to write the Korean language.
Korean, however, like most Asian languages, is seen as a challenging prospect for western speakers; with a similar level of difficulty as languages such as Arabic and Chinese. However, it is an incredibly interesting and vivid language spoken in large communities throughout the civilised world.
