One-to-one General/Business
Portuguese Course in Limerick
Whether you're looking to learn a language for personal or business reasons, our tailor-made courses can help you achieve your aims.
General Portuguese courses will cover Survival Portuguese, allowing you to be comfortable during short visits to the country; polite conversation, practicable vocabulary and a strong grammatical foundation. A Business course in Portuguese will generally cover basic business etiquette in that language, and at a higher level, reading and writing in Portuguese.
It is your first session and your own requirements, however, which decide the precise content of the course. A Business course will generally include common conversational topics, as well as gaining greater fluency with writing letters and emails in Portuguese, as well as using the telephone. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.
Typical learners who choose our Business courses are import/export professionals, agents for multi-national companies, and those involved with foreign governments and universities. General courses cater mostly to those who wish to learn Portuguese for short trips to (or through) a country where it is widely spoken; as well as those who wish to pass a specific Portuguese exam, people who want to buy a home abroad, and people marrying into a Portuguese family.

Info about Limerick
With around 100,000 residents in the city and its suburbs, Limerick is the third largest city in the Republic of Ireland, situated right in the middle of Cork and Galway. As with many of the more sizeable cities in Ireland, there has been an explosion of immigration into the country in the past decade, spurring on Limerick's tourism trade, as well as its reputation for its vibrant shopping and clubbing industries.
In recent years Limerick has become a haven for Polish and African immigrants, and their influences have become part and parcel of the city itself. The Polish community is the second largest in Ireland, second only to Dublin, making it a great place to pick up a Slavic tongue - or indeed any other language from the continent, with the almost continuous stream of European immigrants coming into the city, all the year round.

Dear Paula, Hope all is fine for you. Above all, I am sorry because I haven't been able to take time enough to give you some feedback regarding the English lessons since I came back from Birmingham. As I said to Clara before going back to Paris, I was very satisfied and enjoyed a lot my English lessons with her. Of course, 4-hour lessons are obviously intensive, however I didn't see the time passing because it was very interesting for me and diversified. I think I had the opportunity to extend my vocabulary during my stay and to learn and improve some grammar (particularly : present perfect and present perfect continuous). Moreover, the lessons were in total coherence regarding the program of my lessons here in France and the objectives of my stay here in Birmingham. Clara helped me a lot and was very involved in allowing me to get the best out of this experience. I really hope this experience will be a first step in improving my english. I am at your disposal for any further details.
