One-to-one General/Business
Ukrainian Course in Cork
It's no problem if you need to take Ukrainian lessons specifically for personal use or to help with your career - our trainers mould the lesson plan to your precise needs.
General Ukrainian courses will provide you with enough grammar and vocabulary to allow you to converse with native speakers, and form a strong basis for further learning. A Business course will focus on business protocol in Ukrainian, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
The possibilities are not limited to these two categories, however. Those taking a Business course will generally also learn Ukrainian telephone and email skills, as well as learning the basics for surviving short visits to the country. Similarly, General courses can delve deeper into certain areas of the language that you know you will need.
Typical learners who choose our Business courses are import/export professionals, agents for multi-national companies, and those involved with foreign governments and universities. Our General courses cater for people aiming to purchase overseas property, globetrotters, Ukrainian language and culture devotees, as well as people who need to pass a particular Ukrainian exam.

Info about Cork
The city of Cork and its surrounding area is home to around 300,000 people, and is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland. Often seen as something of a 'rebel' county, native Cork residents have their own distinctive accent, dialect and vocabulary, tending to be higher in pitch than most Irish accents; and often compared with Liverpudlian accents due to the long-standing rate of immigration to Liverpool from Cork.
Home of the Blarney Stone, Cork is a terrific place to pick up a new language, having long stood as a centre for immigration in the region - around 20% of the city's population was born outside Ireland. This cultural diversity means more native speakers of other languages in the region, giving plenty of reasons to study a new tongue.

Info about Ukrainian
Ukrainian is an East Slavic language, used by around 40 million people around the world, and shares many features with other Slavic tongues such as Polish, Russian, Croatian and Slovak; including the Cyrillic alphabet.
The Ukrainian language has had a chequered history, and is currently recovering from a period of deterioration due to numerous bans and discouragement over the past few centuries. Since the last decade of the 20th century, the Ukrainian government has actively encouraged the spread of the language, and nowadays almost everyone in Ukraine speaks the language, though many are also fluent in Russian.
Ukrainian, like most Slavic languages, is a difficult prospect for the average native English speaker, but fluency can be gained with careful study, daily practice and a little passion.

Dear Paula, Hope all is fine for you. Above all, I am sorry because I haven't been able to take time enough to give you some feedback regarding the English lessons since I came back from Birmingham. As I said to Clara before going back to Paris, I was very satisfied and enjoyed a lot my English lessons with her. Of course, 4-hour lessons are obviously intensive, however I didn't see the time passing because it was very interesting for me and diversified. I think I had the opportunity to extend my vocabulary during my stay and to learn and improve some grammar (particularly : present perfect and present perfect continuous). Moreover, the lessons were in total coherence regarding the program of my lessons here in France and the objectives of my stay here in Birmingham. Clara helped me a lot and was very involved in allowing me to get the best out of this experience. I really hope this experience will be a first step in improving my english. I am at your disposal for any further details.
