One-to-one General/Business
Ukrainian Course in Newcastle
If you want to be taught Ukrainian for academic reasons, business needs or gain a working knowledge of the language for general purposes, our tailormade lessons are guaranteed to be the ideal solution.
A General course in Ukrainian will grant you 'Survival Ukrainian' - enough under your belt to furnish you with a working knowledge for the purpose of visiting the country, allowing you to introduce yourself and engage in conversation with native speakers. A Business course will focus on business protocol in Ukrainian, and later on reading and writing will become more important.
Our Ukrainian courses would not be fixed to a specific curriculum, however. You know the specifics of what you will need from your new language, and all you need do is tell your teacher. Perhaps if you are taking a Business course, you may want to focus more on Ukrainian telephone or email skills, or a specific vocabulary for your line of work. In the same way, those taking a General course who may need more knowledge of a certain aspect of Ukrainian need only request it from their teacher.
Typical learners who choose our Business courses are import/export professionals, agents for multi-national companies, and those involved with foreign governments and universities. General courses in Ukrainian suit those hoping to emigrate to foreign shores, people with a view to travel to countries where Ukrainian is the vernacular tongue, those with a keen interest in Ukrainian culture and language, and people with foreign spouses.

Info about Ukrainian
Ukrainian is an East Slavic language, used by around 40 million people around the world, and shares many features with other Slavic tongues such as Polish, Russian, Croatian and Slovak; including the Cyrillic alphabet.
The Ukrainian language has had a chequered history, and is currently recovering from a period of deterioration due to numerous bans and discouragement over the past few centuries. Since the last decade of the 20th century, the Ukrainian government has actively encouraged the spread of the language, and nowadays almost everyone in Ukraine speaks the language, though many are also fluent in Russian.
Ukrainian, like most Slavic languages, is a difficult prospect for the average native English speaker, but fluency can be gained with careful study, daily practice and a little passion.

My experience with Language Trainers exceeded my expectations significantly. I enjoyed my Spanish classes with a competent teacher that was a native-speaker. At the same time I was offered continuous support from the back office of Language Trainers. In addition to that, I did not only make fast progress, but I learned insights about the Spanish culture and cuisine that made me really love the language. Studying became a lively experience
