Language Trainers: Good afternoon, Esther! Thank you for agreeing to this interview. Could you tell us a little about you and why you chose to learn a new language?
Esther: Sure. I work as a doctor and see patients from different nationalities. I decided to start learning Portuguese because I would like to communicate adequately with my Portuguese-speaking patients without the help of a translator. I believe this will improve the doctor-patient relationship and will increase patient adherence to treatments.
Language Trainers: And what attracted you to learn with Language Trainers?
Esther: I had taken previous courses with Language Trainers when I was studying German and I had a very good experience.
Language Trainers: That’s great to hear! What was your favourite thing about studying with Language Trainers?
Esther: I really appreciate the support I receive from their staff all the time. Their teachers are very well-trained and know how to keep pupils motivated as well. Also, all my teachers could always adapt to my needs.
Language Trainers: Would you say that that is the most helpful aspect of your course?
Esther: Absolutely. I feel the course is personalised to my requirements and adapted to what I need.
Language Trainers: And how has that worked out so far? Do you believe your language ability has improved?
Esther: Clearly and significantly. I have been able to speak with Portuguese people in the real world and the experience has been very good.
Language Trainers: Are there any other rewarding outcomes?
Esther: Totally. I have learned a new language and a new culture. This experience has opened new horizons to me.
Language Trainers: Do you think that is one of the reasons why students should enrol in a language course with Language Trainers?
Esther: Definitely. Studying a new language opens the door to a completely different world. Being able to communicate effectively with other people from different cultures is amazing and will enrich everybody’s experiences.
Language Trainers: Thank you for your testimony, Esther! Lastly, could you tell us which is your favourite word, phrase, or expression in your new language?
Esther: Muito obrigada!
