Language Trainers: Hi, thanks for speaking with me today! Please can tell our readers your name, the language you teach and how long you have taught with Language Trainers?
Florencia: Hello! My name is Florencia, I work for Language Trainers as a Spanish trainer, and I started working for the company in June, 2020.
Language Trainers: And what is it about teaching languages that inspires you?
Florencia: Learning languages gives people the chance to communicate with the world at any moment of their lives. It gives people freedom and independence to travel, work and study all over the world.
Language Trainers: So, you’re still quite new to working with Language Trainers, then. How are you liking it so far?
Florencia: I have felt really comfortable for many reasons. First of all, the staff are kind, lovely, friendly, and ready to help at any time. At the beginning, I was given loads of material and all the information I could need, but I was also told that I could plan the lessons the way I preferred. So, freedom in how you work is another of the key aspect of this company.
Language Trainers: What are your typical lessons like?
Florencia: I deliver my classes online using Zoom or Skype. Both platforms work very well and I like that teachers and students can screen share. In my classes, I use a coursebook called Aula Latina 1, with plenty of activities, images and grammar to learn Spanish. But also, I consider it crucial that my students learn from many channels, so I also use resources from YouTube, Google docs and slides, websites for games, etc.
