Mandarin Chinese Lessons with Native Mandarin Chinese Tutors
Our Mandarin Chinese teachers are fully qualified to teach their native tongue. They can train you and, if need be, the rest of your group at a time that is suitable for you, at your home or place of work. Sessions can take place whichever day of the week and whatever time works best, even weekends: whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. If circumstances arise where your home or office is unavailable, these Mandarin Chinese lessons can be held at your trainer’s office. The teacher will recommend a comprehensive course book to guide you through the lessons.
Reviews Of Our Mandarin Chinese Courses
The lessons are going really well, and I'm finding it very useful to have a tutor who can concentrate on the bits I find difficult (fourth tone) and go lighter on the parts that are okay for me (reading). Grace is fantastic, and really good at answering some of the cultural and contextual questions which are also coming up.I was looking for Mandarin classes in Southampton, and found various options, but I was attracted to Language Trainers because of the tutoring and because it would be possible to tailor the classes more to my needs. Many Mandarin courses, both in real life and online, tend to talk a lot about things like hobbies, restaurants, and generally assume that a person wants the language to 'take on holiday' with them; I wanted to learn Mandarin so that I could better work with international students in university halls of residence, including those who have arrived to take intensive English courses. This means that my language needs are quite different from those commonly advertised towards: accommodation issues, broken bedroom or kitchen fittings, and visiting friends and family members, etc. It's been really useful for me to be able to lean all of my learning in that direction, relating textbook Mandarin to real-world scenarios.Grace has been really knowledgeable, really friendly, and great at answering some of the stranger questions that I have come out with along the way! We have also had thoughtful discussions about keeping language gender-neutral, which is important for inclusivity within the student body and because I am non-binary. It is sometimes hard for people to deal with this even in English, let alone across multiple languages, and she has been really great.
My first Mandarin lesson went great. Tina was very good.
