Born and raised in Namibia, and currently based in Birmingham, Albertus is a native Afrikaans language instructor who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Namibia, Windhoek. He has experience teaching both in-person classes as well as online classes and likes to create his own resources to further supplement student learning.

Nefertari is a dynamic native Afrikaans teacher with a passion for cultures and digital media. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing Communications from Berkeley College, US, and Commerce in Digital Marketing from Vega School, South Africa. In 2018, she was honored by the National Society of Leadership and Success for her academic prowess and leadership skills.

Jo-anne, a Afrikaans tutor with a decade of experience, adapts her teaching to each learner’s unique style. Her educational and interactive lessons provide a safe space for students of all ages to ask questions and share perspectives. Jo-anne’s patient and compassionate approach builds strong connections with her students, creating an encouraging learning environment.
